Fitness plays an important role in your life. Physical
fitness is essential for the your body to perform to its
optimum capacity. It is like tuning a musical instrument
for the best results. When the instrument is tuned well
the notes flow out smoothly and effortlessly. It is the
same with the body; to do well and without tension or
stress the body has to be kept in good shape. A
physically fit person has the ability to handle stress
and withstand any sort of emergency. Physical fitness,
good health and overall personality go hand in hand. All
over the world people are becoming aware about being fit.
Fitness is the secret that makes you look good and feel
good and energetic, it also increases your life expectancy.
Nowadays, people are more health conscious and hence they
try to follow a physical fitness plan. However before
choosing a fitness plan make sure you feel up to it,
because you have to follow it for life and it will take a
large chunk of your time and effort. Moreover it has to
become a habit like brushing your teeth. When the
realization that being unfit can lead to a number of
problems dawns on you, then the fitness plan can act as a
strong motivator. On the other hand the positive outcome
of fitness becomes a great incentive as well.
Fitness is generally associated with a healthy heart and
strong muscles, but actually it is a very relative term.
It means different things to different people. The state
in which our body is, affects us physically, mentally and
emotionally. The mind is a part of the body and is
directly affected by the bodies condition. Another factor
that affects our fitness is age. It is but natural to
expect a twenty year old to be more fit than a seventy-year
old.
Besides age, even sex and hereditry play an important part
in your physical fitness. One has no control on these
factors but there are other factors which you can control,
such as your eating habits and whether you are an active
person or you lead a sedentary life. Exercise is a major
factor in the fitness plan, and one cannot ignore it for
the sake of good health.
Having good fitness will obviously improve your overall
health and appearance, but just remember to have patience.
You can't change overnight something that may have taken
years to come about, so start out slow, knowing in time you
will enjoy the rewards and benefits of your perseverance.
Stay focused on your rewards and don~t give up before you
have accomplished the fitness you desire.
